Official Rules

Description of Contest:  The Creativity 350 T-shirt Contest (the "Contest") asks you to design a novel t-shirt that conveys the importance of the number 350 to our global future.  If you want more information about the importance of the number 350, please see: www.350.org.  Judges will choose the winning entry from the 10 Finalists in accordance with these Official Rules (the "Rules").

Sponsor: The Contest is sponsored by NameMedia, Inc., its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Sponsor" or "We" or "us"), a Delaware corporation and the owner of the website www.Craftster.org ("the Site"), with principal place of business at 230 Third Avenue, Waltham, MA USA.  The winning T-Shirt design will be marketed and sold by 350.org and its distributors. 

Binding Rules:  The Contest is open to individuals who are at least 18 years of age or older on July 15, 2008 who agree to these Rules ("Entrants"), provided that 350.org's and Sponsor's employees and their families are not eligible to submit an Entry. You may not enter the Contest or win the Prize unless you abide by the Rules.  You acknowledge that by submitting a design (an "Entry"), you are indicating that you understand that the Rules are binding on you. 

Submitting an Entry: To enter the Contest, log on to the Site (www. Craftster.org) between 12:01 a.m. EDT on July 15, 2008 and 11:59 p.m. EDT on August 15, 2008 (the "Contest Period"), and log-in as a returning member or register as a member of the Site. All Entrants must have a valid e-mail address.  Once registered, each Entrant must follow the onscreen instructions to enter and upload your design for a T-Shirt in a gif or jpeg format under 2MB in size ("Entry"). You must upload the Entry to the Site during the Contest Period and no later than August 15, 2008 at 11:59 p.m. EDT. You are responsible to determine the coordinating time zone in your location. Only one entry per person is permitted.  Entries will not be returned.

Your Entry must meet all of the following requirements or it will be disqualified. We reserve the right to prescreen, monitor and remove Entries, all at our discretion.

• Your Entry must be original, unpublished, your sole property, and not previously submitted in any other contest.
• Your Entry must relate to the number 350.
• Your Entry must be submitted in a jpeg or gif format under 2MB in size.
• Your Entry must not violate third-party rights including, copyrights, trademarks and any other intellectual property rights. Do not include any third-party trademarks, company names or logos.
• Entries must not depict or incorporate obscenity; disparage any product or person; or contain other offensive or inappropriate content or material.

Intellectual Property Warranty & Rights: By submitting an Entry, you warrant that your Entry is original and that you are the sole and exclusive owner of the design.  You retain ownership of all intellectual property rights in and to the Entry that you had before submitting the Entry, provided, that, as a condition of entry, you grant Sponsor and 350.org a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, adapt, modify, publish, distribute, and publicly display the Entry that you submit to this Contest on the Contest page website and in connection with advertising and promotion of the Contest whether on the Site or 350.org or in other marketing or promotional materials.  The Winning Entrant will enter into an agreement with Sponsor and 350.org including a license to permit the use the winning design for a T-Shirt marketed and sold by 350.org and its distributors.

Public Viewing: Entries will be posted for public viewing between August 16 and August 31, 2008 on the Contest page at Craftster.org.  Entries are to be judged 25% on originality, 25% on creativity and 50% on the effectiveness of conveying the importance of the number 350.  Registered Craftster.org members who are not employees of Sponsor or 350.org may vote for your favorite Entry based on these criteria by following the instructions on the website.  The ten (10) Entries that receive the most votes by 11:59 p.m. ET, on August 31, 2008 (the "Finalists") will be forwarded to the judges for final selection of the Winner.

One vote per person only.

Judging: Judges from 350.org will select one Prize Winner from the 10 Finalists using the same criteria:  25% on originality, 25% on creativity and 50% on the effectiveness of conveying the importance of the number 350.  The Winner will be notified on or about September 8, 2008 via your Craftster.org account, and you will be asked to provide a mailing address for prize delivery.  The Judges decision shall be final.

Prizes:  The Winner will receive: (1) Speedball Ultimate Screen Printing Kit; (2) Etsy Surprise Gift Basket; (3) $200 gift certificate to FredFlare.com; (4) JGoods shoe customization kit; (5) Pebeo Design By Myself Kit; (6) Envirosax Greengrocer Series reusable pouch with 5 bags; (7) Envirosax Kids Series pouch, set of 5 bags; (8) One year subscription to Craft Magazine (or one year extension to existing subscription); (9) Coats & Clark grocery bag kit; and (10) Red Heart yarn sampler.  Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of the same or similar value in the event that one or more of the original prizes are not available.

Winner:  The Prize Winner will be required to sign and return a license agreement and release with Sponsor and 350.org by September 20, 2008 or the prizes will be forfeited in their entirety and another winner may be selected. By submitting an entry, the Winner agrees to allow use of his or her Entry, name and/or likeness for advertising by the Site or 350.org, or similar promotions, including any promotion for the T-Shirt created from the winning Entry, without compensation, unless prohibited by law.

Legal: The Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.  Sponsor, 350.org and their affiliated companies, representatives, agents or employees are not responsible for any claims, injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting from an Entrant's failure to abide by the Rules.  Entrant shall indemnify Sponsor and 350.org in the event of a third party claim asserting that the design Entry is not original or that Entrant is not the sole and exclusive owner.   Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any failure, malfunction, delay or other human, computer, network, hardware or software errors or telephone or network transmissions or any other technical error that might occur in processing an Entry.  Sponsor reserves the right to withdraw the Contest at any time and award the Prizes from among eligible entries received prior to the date of the withdrawal.  Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the game or Web site or to be acting in violation of the Rules. Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are illegible, late, tampered with, forged, incomplete, misdirected, lost, misplaced, stolen, destroyed or otherwise not in compliance with the Rules.  All such entries will be disqualified by Sponsor in its sole discretion.

Privacy: Submitting a Contest Entry requires you to register with the Site and submit your name, and email address.  The Winner shall supply a valid postal address or risk disqualification. Your personal information will be handled in accordance with the Site's privacy policy. By entering the Contest, you agree that Entrant registration information may be transferred in the United States and used and shared with the Sponsor and 350.org. for the purpose of administering the Contest and using the winning design in a T-Shirt marketed and sold by 350.org and others.

Winner's information: The Winner will be announced on September 25, 2008.  To obtain the name of the winner, please contact Leah Kramer at upstairs@craftster.org after September 25, 2008.
